the past week.. prob 2 weeks.. have been a lot of seeking, a lot of crying, a lot of outpouring...

last night, after ul... as i laid on my bed, recalling what i've actually done... goosebumps flled me. i did it!!! i can actually do what i feared most. the one thing tt was holding me back frm stepping up... i actually conqured it, and very obviously, not by my own strength.

sometimes, we wonder, what life is all abt.. ppl, dreams, motivations, others...

watching hse at the moement, and wonder.. how much do ppl bring in past experiences into their decision making, how each experience affects the future decisions to come by, be it whether they affect others or whether it was only a personal affect..

i think im bored.. yet having fun shopping... its a whole new experience altogether...

ever felt like He's so near, yet so far? well.. i feel the opp now... so far yet so near... havent had the best qts.. yet somehow.. He's juz there.. speaking to me... tts the wonder yea?

cant wait to attend a spore ul.. but 1st of all.. gotta get past the next 2 weeks without floating by... meaning... enjoying every single bit of it.. though i wonder how.. haha

shopping is officially my middle name.. till i get back to spore.. where i'll change it to eating.. soooooo... woohoo... good deals, great shoes... here i come..

by the way... branded stuff is so not cheap here.. whoever said tt? neither is anything else... but wow.. saw a few things i really like.. and apple stuff is def cheaper.. like the roxy speakers r abt $100 here... but i guess.. once the exchange rate and taxes come in... i prob wont save anything...

well... 1st week's almost over.. bought heels (finally found shoes my size) and went to eat in US' top 5 restaurant here in california... yummy.. too bad no pics.. but boy were the servings small... but wor... felt like i had to get new clothes after tt... thank God for a dress and not tight jeans.. so more space to fit food.. weather is def not melb winter... ba to kor for telling me so... think its snowing in las vegas.. gosh im so gonna get gloves now.. and boots too.. haha.. paiseh... its been ages since i came back... the whole Israel trip seemed like a dream... a very tiring journey, like a field trip... a lot of comments, a lot of sightseeing... but i hope that you'll all enjoy every pic i've put up.. not tt many coz i dont really have time... but i promise to change my blog settings so tt it'll be easier to view the photos by the time im back or hopefully when im in San Fran....

oh well... 12 hrs till i fly.. but really wanna reccommend u guys this album tt i bought in Israel.. Daniel Carmel's the singer.... He converts some of our well known Christian songs into hebrew... and yea.. its really really good.. i heard him live.. and its fantastic... He was a fisherman from Galilee, but got saved on a boat when he was out hosting Christian tourists.. so he's a mesianic jew.. and he's awesome.... really!!!!! hope u all manage to get it.. else.. i'll bring the album back and let u all have a listen... hahha... its fantastic... Christine Ong... i think this is a cd for u woman... ahha...

anyway.. cldnt believe how fast time has gone... its seems only like yesterday tt i touched down and helped out in o-week and even started uni... I JUZ FINITO MY 1ST YR.. WAT A WASTE OF NOT APPRECIATING IT!!!! ARGH!!!!!

2 more weeks as mummy said till i set foot in Israel.. my gosh... tts soo true.. 14 days exactly n i'll be on some part of the "holy land".. hahhaha.

we've been planning wat to do for the 5 days after xams.. n well... didnt realise tt my bdae's near too.. 1st time ever not even thinking abt it... i dun wan it to come... last yr of teenhood, 1 new yr to respnsibilityhood.

gonna haf a lot of catching up to do b4 i say byebye to ppl i wont be seeing for exactly 3 mths.. gosh.. tts longest hols ever.... heaps of flying tt the plane wld prob be my 3rd home after my spore hse and melb unit... hahha... oh dear!!!

wat can i say? it was one of the most awesome, amazing, mind-blowing, tiring 1 week of Christian Conference....

a lot of aches, a lot of tears.. but heaps of lessons learnt... now i know what it means to be influenced, to be inspired, to bond, to learn from a weekful of stuff...

will wanna go again next yr.. i dunno how to explain it.. but i guess... its when we rewatch those sessions, and recall and show others what the experience was like, would they understand.... or maybe... go and experience it yourselves... and u'll learn heaps...

chionging for most sessions... dozing off when it was really too much to take in and too little sleep... but feeling so touched, so inspired by what others have done, that sometimes, our prayers seem trival, coz its already been prayed for and done by others, somewhere on the other side of the world...

i guess... it taught me, to dream big, to cheerish those i have around me a lot more, to ont neglect those who do not understand, but spend more time with them and allow them to see the difference, and to accept me for who i am.. an important lesson learnt, is not to push, not to comprimise, but be a testimony, and accepting, not judgemental...

my last whole day of studying crim.. and i did nothing!!! well except read over 3 pages of armed robbery.. which took me like 5 hours to get through... the rest of the time was laugh, eat, bum, and did wat we loved.... watch dvd!!!!!

to update wat happened on wed....

last combined ul.... we had awesome worship.. led by Victor and Scott... who played the guitar at eelin's place... haha.. cant believe we had a diff venue...

lots of ppl needed breakthroughs i believed. in worship. in their lives... amazing how sanne called 1 hr b4 ul.. and decided to go thru wif me wat she wanted to share... so in line wif mine.. tt i had to request tt she was b4 me... and God let all our testimonies almost turn out to be along da same lines... frm Josh's to SueLynn's, to Jane's, to shauna's, to Scott's to Sanne's and finally mine... sanne had her longest speech ever and im super proud of her... gave a toast to scott, josh, suelynn, and eelin.. for all their love, prayers and everything they've thought us.... Thank God for each of them...

b4 i cld move on to moi offering... Scott washed our feet... including eelin's and we were left speechless... tears in some ppl's eyes.... it was really significant and yes... thank God... Jesus did it too...

offering was a challenge... and thank God... tt the testimonies i had in mine came in da correct sequence.. and an amazing offering was taken up... haha....

but God has shown me soooo much more... the ppl im surrounded with, the older ones who've experienced more than i have, the mentors tt He's provided... the guidence, the encouragement... its all tt i've not asked for, all tt i've not expected... all i did was to pray for a church.. and He's blessed me with so much more.

He's closer than being just tt God... slept like at like after 3 this morning after a superbly amazing 1 hr worship wif scott and jane at my place ... we juz started at ard 11.. and what was supposed to be Scott 'showing off' his skills at playing as we named songs became a time of worship... such tangible presence of the Holy Spirit allows me to understand why i wanted this homey desire in the past....

tirely walked to sch.. and practically fell asleep at every lecture... finally leaving crim early wif a bad tommy ache...

went to bed... wif Scott calling to find his charger... and then another call frm reception telling me tt i had a delivery to collect... grumbling.. but thought it was my John Bevere package... i headed down... to find... a long rectangular box ( which obviously too small at the width to fit any of the books i ordered. obviously i told them they had gotten the wrong package... but they were like... yea.. its you... its ur name.. ur appartment... and it had 'Roses Only' stuck to it...

they thot i had a secret admirer... and Shauna was wif me... thinking who was crazy enuff to sent me roses... haha... the 3 recepionists were more excited than me frm the constant 'open it open it plssssssss' and well yea.. i did coz it smelt so nice.... to find... whatever u'll see...

opened the card... and well... yea.. its frm someone... who went thru the trouble of asking ppl whether i was gonna be home at 7( why this time though) and whether i liked flowers... which i obviously did..... haha

so.. to this very very very sweet and romantic person ( whom i was conversing wif da person u asked for info tt ur partner in da future has to be this wonderful as well).....

its amazing, how when few ppl meet for the 1st time, or even for the shortest time, a day may seem like a mth, 3 mths may seem like 3 years.

tts home. home right here in melb, in a country foreign to some, yet it has taken over tt sense of belonging. to me, it cant be replaced, never subtituted, neva forgetten.

no matter whether i do go back in the near future, i noe tt i've come over.. not only to impact, but to be impacted myself as well.

essay due tomorrow.. haven started.. yet im telling myself that coz i've got a God who does the impossible, i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!! not very good excuse though.. but good enough from keeping me away from my insanities and anxieties.

QT may not be the best right now, but its only when we push past that roof hovering over our heads that its the best of what could have been the worst case of 'laziness', 'essays', 'tests' and just 'myself'...

i love my God coz He's bringing me through tough times, and that through every dark tunnel is always light at the end... i see my light, yet walking towards it is tough job without His guidence, comfort, strength... i see my weakness, and God's holding onto me... time for me to walk walk walk walk in the light.. and by faith too!!!

im still in amazment... at why things turned out this way... y problems spread this way... but i know.. tt though i see a lot of things differently right now, my heart for each n every one of u will still be the same... i will still b tt crazy gurl u c in church, the one hu goes up for hugs and cheek kisses, the one hu juz wants to laugh, the one hu juz wans to smile...

to any one else hu sees this... i duno wat to say... but its gonna b our loss if they fade away... ppl come n go in our life... some move on to other uls, some return home, some into other ministries... but the bottom line is.. we started frm the same ministry.. and if we cant encourage 1 another... no one else can... coz we're in God'd own family....

i remember a time.. in discipleship, when each of us stood in tt circle, and prayed for unity... tt was y i stepped up... to be united as 1 ministry... at this moment, the hole hasnt been mended... but becoz of tt circle we made, i want our friendships back... all of us...

i love u all... like i've neva loved anyone b4... n i pray tt i'll neva stop... this is when i realise... i really really really really love each n everyone of u....

its time to rise up isnt it? then its time to start our breakthroughs in... n kick the devil out... be it in our daily lives, or be it in church, in uni, in our family... he's an idiot n we ought to show him hu's boss ard here... come on guys... we can def do it... not with juz our individual strength... but wif the unity n encouragement we shared, to achieve tt same goal, the attitude tt we carried throughout us for events like trivia and mamak nite...

choot choot choot goes the printer.... as psych lecture notes come out 1 by 1....wasting paper... but wat can i do?

yupz... tts right.. im printing my own noes coz melb uni too *kiam* to print notes for us, and tt some lecturers are seriously too lousy!!!! too boring.. make me wanna go sleep... well done wif ur training melb uni!!!

today is def one of my happiest days at uni.. the best ever... crim tute... tutor was nice... class was ok la.. not too bad... made a few fds... saw HER.. caught sight of HER in crim lecture last week... neva got to find out HER name.. but recognised HER immediately... did she remember me? she's in my tute!!! hurray for that!! thank God tt i gotta c her... too scred to say hi.. told tess though... how encouraging... introduced ourselves... she said she's frm spore.. my heart skipped a beat.. i'm 100% sure its her.. even the name was right... it was familiar anyway...

later at the end of lunch... heard evelyn call my name... 2 guys and a gurl wif her.. tts right.. saw HER again.... evelyn told them she told them she knew me.. and i said def right... i looked at HER and asked... u frm rgp right? and and her face brightened up!!! haha... yea!!! she recognised me last week frm crim lecture too... hahha... but neva came up to say hi... jessica!!! hahha... anyway... yes... my pri 3 classmate... woohooo... 3c rocks(if i remember hu was in my class)... made new fds... got to know some better... xiao xi, yan, jes still hilarious... restless... even tess cldnt take it... hhaha.. tts right.. laughing all the way throughout lecture... my gosh.. cld anyone drone tt slowly... yan def counted the no. of secs she took to say each word.. or was it sentence? my gosh... took forever... tts right... even liz left after 1 hr... she was going mad... hahha... amazing tt we caught up.. me, susu, tess, yan.... for a drink, for chat, surrounding the tree.. but it was worth it...
gotta make a pack wif God coz its stirring in my heart... must bring 'her no. 2' back to Him....

yumz yumz... went for korean food.. but not before wandering ard bourke and elizabeth a few times b4 finding the recommended place by tuck wee.. haha...

it was good... both beef dishes... yummy... she enjoyed it.. and it was HER 1st time eating korean food... i still taste kimchi in my mouth and savour over the amazing beef dish... haha...

tired... for being awaken TWICE BY INCONSIDERATE CS RESIDENTS AT THE POOL!!!! swimming at 12 midnight is one thing... something i dun ever wanna do... but doing it at 5am!!!!! TTS WAS THE MAX!!! FROM NOW ON.. IM GONNA KEEP CALLING SECUITY TILL THEY GET OUT... wa lau... pls choose better timing la.... 5am!! hu is up n still in the mood for a 45 min swim!!! ******* all my bad words are gonna come out ah!!!! ARGH!!!!

is uni like this? well... im tired....

no offence to crim lovers.. but i juz had the worst lecture... of the 1st 2 days of uni... crim was boring.. dry.. and out to kill... mayb it wasnt tt bad... but im def a gonner at crim....

so now... tt leaves 1 other option... sigh.. something else again... back to choices, back to reading readers and finding something....

a lot of things came as a shock.. frm the callings... to the working.. to i dunno... juz a lot of things... mayb im glad the shock has come... to prepare me.. but when will it go away... for tt little while? i understand the times away... but i dunno... i'll still like to come back.. visit.. once a while... when im fresh again...

like a flower tts blooming... sometimes there feels a time when it stops blooming... and when all the rain and wind come against it... sometimes it juz wans to hide away... to grow smaller... and shorter... so tt harm will pass it by.... yet to bloom fully, it has to grow.. higher.. and blossom... into the beautiful rose it was created to be...

think i need a nap... at least 1 lecture was good today.... mayb im not majorless afterall...

a lot of things... tt were once blur.. now i understand... y God allowed this to happen...

these past few weeks.. haven been smooth... def not easy at all.. but now.. i know why i feel this way... another desire realised... another promise revealed.... now i know... tt God allows a promise to seem dead... b4 He resuracts it.. how cool is tt.. how obvious can tt be for me to be blind towards tt fact....

its true.. how i've always called for help from others.. but God.. the free call away is always placed 2nd.... now i understand sometimes why im thrown into the sea.. and left to learn how to swim on my own.... sometimes... God may be below me, helping me float.. but i dun feel Him and always struggle to drown.... sigh.... God is amazing... His ways... are too deep to comprehend...yet its not always hard.. juz tt our panics turn us blind to the simplicity...

uni now... finally... 10 hrs to go... ahhaa.... hmm.. dunn whether its gd or bad... but hey.. im ready for another chap of my life... coz i noe tt His promises to me will come to pass.. more revealed this yr... and those revealed will come to pass... some this yr... some in the near future....
